I'm just saying! The only reason Payne doesn't have a championship is because of obvious bad calls and calls against thunder! The commisioner and everyone there watching knows it. I'm still pissed! I want be happy until next year when we win it again! And as far as Payne selling out? Come on man everyone in that league has asked to play with thunder but we only want players that are about team and not self and Payne is one of these players! Every player we have want to win and don't care who shines just as long as we win! Steve and I have talked and and agree no player should ref and players should just play the game.

I'M BACK! I WOULD LIKE TO SEND A SPECIAL THANKS TO HERB FOR PUTTING TOGETHER A SMALL TOURNAMENT AT THE LAST MINUTE,TO COMPENSATE THE CANCELATION OF THE CAPITAL CITY CL@@@@IC. IT STARTED SLOW BUT FINISHED WELL, THE RULES OF THE GAME WAS A LITTLE SKETCHY TO SOME OF THE VOLUNTEER REFEREES BUT IT ALL WORKED OUT AND ENDED ON A GOOD NOTE! ONCE AGAIN THE LONGHORNS DISPLAYED THEIR DOMINANCE BY DEFEATING THE TIGERS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! WE NEED TO CONSIDER PLAYING THE FALL LEAGUE AT HUGHES FIELD MAYBE THE LONGHORNS WOULD DOMINATE! Greetings to my fellow flag football brothers.

I have checked this board several times but its been shut down. Good to see it back up and running.

First let me say that I have missed playing this year terribly. I have had NOS running now for ten years and this is not the way I entended our "decade" celebration.

Just to clear the air on some things I want to say I have not quit on my team, given my team up or packed it in and quit playing. Some have asked so I thought I would put that out there.

Secondly - and I do not mind sharing personal information - This last year personally has been very trying for me both professionally and privately. I have been battling long hours at work and trying to reach some of my professional goals that has honestly taken every spare ounce of time that I have. Hopefully all this is coming to an end very soon.

Let me say thank you to those that have stuck around and kept things a float on my team even though the win - loss column is not what we are use to at NOS.

Let me say thank you to Torrance and the body that continues to run the Flag Football Organization. You guys are super. Let me say thank you to Cody, Casey, January, and many others I have had conversations with and the kind words you have said to me over the last few months. You guys are truly great friends even though our contact has been minimal.

Also let me say this game means the world to me as my favorite past time and you dont know how bad you miss something until you are forced to walk away for a minute.

Having said that - you guys keep up the good work and I look forward to coming back and playing very soon.

I also look forward to working hard and helping NOS get back to where it needs to be.

Torrence you are right. Congrats to the guys that made the pro bowl. I love playing in the league and winning everytime Thunder steps on the field. Everyone on Thunder should be in the pro bowl. They are on Thunder for a reason "because they are good athletes, winners, and smart players! Everyone on thunder will get a trophy that saids CHAMPS! And again T thanks for the league, your time, and the yearly hardware!

Mr. Childress I respect your big play capability. The leader in touchdowns currently plays with the Tigers " Adrian Jackson" (16), in second place is the Titans " Shandell Lockridge" (14). I respect that you feel highly about your team mates, but if you disagree like you & others do each year fix it by starting your own league. You will get my full support. Appreciate the league for being the best around with it's flaws. I don't appreciate hearing from one of the better player's in the league year after year complaing nor making suggestions that best player plays with you. You team has the upper hand, & no one person can dispute that, it's a fact. Your games have been close, so don't respect other teams as if you've blown them out. They could have gone either way. What you should be doing is congradulating Payne a first timer to the Bowl. Be more positive. Thank You In Advance,
